On August 22, the forum on Construction Consultation of Chinese Lantern Industry Base is held in Zigong; Cao Tiejun, the deputy director of the Zigong culture and broadcasting bureau and Shen Hongyue, the deputy commander of Zigong International Dinosaur Lantern Festival attended and presented important speeches during the meeting.
The heads of the relevant departments of the Zigong culture and broadcasting bureau and related representatives of more than 20 lantern companies including Zigong Bosswell Lantern Art Co., Ltd, a subsidiary of Sichuan PG Salient Culture Trade Co., Ltd attended the meeting. During the meeting, the heads of city-level relevant departments and business representatives talked about further implementation of the cultural “Going out” strategy and discussed how to improve and develop the lantern industry to a higher level, and also put forward related planning issues and progress reports on the base construction of Chinese lantern industry.
Sheng Hongyue Stated that on the meeting, “Press and Publication Bureau of Culture, Radio& Television and Zigong Lantern Culture Spreading &Operating Co., Ltd are not only responsible for the promotion and operation of the annual Dinosaur Lantern Festival, but also need to manage the brand operation of the Zigong lantern industry; at the same time, it will establish an association of the lantern industry for the protection of independent intellectual property rights for practitioners, make standards of the industry, promote and develop the industry as their responsibilities. On the other hand, it will enhance the innovation to expand the lantern market. Governments and related enterprises need to cooperation, coordination, and communication with each other. With the attitude of openness, tolerance, and healthy competition, work together to make the industry become stronger and bigger than before.
At the same time, related leaders introduced the Great Lights World and the future planning and construction progress of Chinese Lantern Dream Works. The municipal government will accelerate the construction paces of National Culture Export Base, as an important starting point to promote the prosperity and development of culture industry in our city. It’s expected that the first phase of Great Lights World will be opened for tourists visiting and appreciating in the Spring Festival of next year.
The representatives of Zigong Bosswell Lantern Art Co., Ltd presented at the Forum that Bosswell, as a new force in this industry, will take “Going out” of Zigong Lantern industry as its mission, continue to strive to promote the capacity construction of Chinese lantern communication around the world, and promote the “Lantern Fair +” model to reach the profits over multi-industry and multi-culture through the experience of Bosswell’s previous successful cases of displaying the charm of lantern in the communication of oversea market.
